Product brief description:
Silicon carbide grinding ball, also known as grinding medium ball, ceramic ball, wear-resistant ball, or ball mill medium. Due to its excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, silicon carbide grinding balls are widely used in ball mills. Silicon carbide grinding balls are a type of black ceramic, and compared with other precision ceramics, they have a small decrease in mechanical strength and high wear resistance in high temperature environments (above 1000 ℃). Due to its strong covalent bonds, it has high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, and good sliding characteristics in liquids among various precision ceramic materials. By utilizing these characteristics, they are widely used in mechanical seals, chemical pump bearings, and other fields.
Product details description:
Pressure free sintered silicon carbide ceramics are ceramic materials made from high-purity, submicron silicon carbide powder as raw material, with a small amount of sintering aids added, and sintered at high temperatures of 2100-2150 ℃ in a vacuum atmosphere. The resulting products are almost completely dense and have excellent mechanical properties.
Silicon carbide ceramic balls have the characteristics of high hardness and high wear resistance. Using a new isostatic pressing process, the product has high density, low wear, and good roundness. Good fluidity during the grinding process improves grinding efficiency and can also be used as a bearing ball in some demanding environments.
Product Features:
- 1. Silicon carbide ceramic balls are precision ceramics sintered at high temperatures in a non oxidizing atmosphere
- 2. It has high strength, high wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and can be used for a long time in various harsh environments
- 3. The overall roundness of the sphere is good
- 4. It has excellent toughness, impact resistance, and does not break during high-speed operation.
Scope of application:
- 1. High strength and high toughness products: widely used in the bearing and valve industries
- 2. Low density, high strength: aerospace, mechanical industry

The 0.5-2m carbide ball has extremely high hardness and minimal impurity introduction, making it an ideal grinding medium for ultrafine grinding of materials such as silicon carbide, boron carbide, titanium carbide, and silicon nitride; 2-8m silicon carbide balls have low specific gravity and high hardness, making them an ideal grinding medium for stirred mills; 8-15mm silicon carbide balls are ideal grinding media for drum ball mills; At the same time, pressureless sintered silicon carbide balls of 1-15mm also play an important role in the application of bearing balls.
