Quartz special glass is special industrial technical glasses made of silicon dioxide and is an extremely excellent basic material. Quartz glass plate possess a series of excellent physical and chemical properties, such as:

1. High-temperature resistant. The softening point of quartz special glass is approximately 1730℃. It can be used for a long time at 1100℃, and the maximum short-term operating temperature can reach 1450℃.

2. Corrosion resistance. Except for HF acid, quartz special glass plate hardly undergoes chemical reactions with other acidic substances. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramics and 150 times that of stainless steel. Especially at high temperatures, its chemical stability is unmatched by any other engineering material.

3. Good thermal stability. Quartz special glass has an extremely small coefficient of thermal expansion and can withstand drastic temperature changes. Even when heated to around 1100℃ and then placed in water at room temperature, it will not crack.

4.Good light transmission performance. Quartz special glass have excellent light transmission performance throughout the entire spectral band from ultraviolet to infrared. The visible light transmittance is above 93%, and especially in the ultraviolet spectral region, the maximum transmittance can reach over 80%.

BK7/K9 speical glass is a kind of borosilicate crown glass material. The following is a detailed introduction to bk7 optical glass:

1. Material Properties of BK7/K9 special glass

Composition: bk7/K9 optical special glass is mainly composed of borosilicate, which endows it with excellent optical properties and chemical stability.

Hardness: BK7/K9 vspecial glass has a relatively high hardness, which can effectively prevent scratches and ensure the clarity and service life of optical components.

2.  Optical Performance

Transmission spectral range: The transmission spectral range of BK7/K9 optical glass is 380-2100nm, covering the visible light and near-infrared regions, and is suitable for a variety of optical applications.

High uniformity: BK7/K9 optical special glass features high uniformity, which can ensure the stable and reliable performance of optical components.

Low bubble and impurity content: Its low bubble and impurity content further enhances the quality and performance of optical components.

3. Processing and Application of BK7/K9 optical special glass

Easy processing: The production and processing technology of BK7/K9 optical glass is relatively simple, which reduces production costs and improves production efficiency.

Excellent mechanical properties: It has good mechanical properties and can withstand certain external forces.

Ultraviolet optical special glass is an industrial optical material with specific ultraviolet light transmission characteristics. According to the differences in components, ZWB optical special glass is divided into three types: ZWB1, ZWB2, and ZWB3 (corresponding to the foreign UG11, UG1, and UG5 models). ZWB optical special glass is black in color and is mainly used to manufacture ultraviolet filters and the walls of high-pressure mercury lamp tubes . The transmittance of the ZWB optical special glass can reach 89.5% in the 400nm band (under the condition of 5mm thickness), the chemical stability index is 594℃ (A2856K standard), and the thickness range covers 0.3mm to 120mm . The quality control system includes classification standards such as bubble grade (Grade B) and stripe grade (3C/3B).

Advantage of ZWB optical special glass:
1.At the 400nm band, the transmittance of ZWB1 type optical special glass reaches 89.5% (under the condition of 5mm thickness).
2.Chemical stability tests show that the ZWB optical special glass can withstand a high temperature of 594℃ under the A2856K standard.
3.The transmission spectrum shows a stepped spectral curve in the ultraviolet region from 300 to 400nm, and the transmittance drops significantly after 500nm

GRB optical special glass is glass with a slightly bluish-green tint.

GRB1 optical special glass is a phosphate-absorbing glass, and GRB3 optical glass is a silicate absorbing glass.

Heat-insulating optical special glass is a type of flat glass that can absorb a large amount of infrared radiation energy and maintain a high visible transmittance.

Advantage of GRB optical special glass:
1.Absorb solar radiation heat. For instance, a 6mm thick transparent float glass has a total heat transmission of 84% under sunlight, while the total heat transmission of heat-absorbing glass under the same conditions is 60%. The color and thickness of heat-absorbing glass vary, and so does the degree to which they absorb solar radiation heat.

2. Absorb visible light from the sun, weaken the intensity of sunlight, and play an anti-glare role.

4.It has a certain degree of transparency and can absorb a certain amount of ultraviolet rays.

HWB Infrared filters optical glass filter and block visible light while allowing infrared rays to pass through.

The large wavelengths of infrared rays can easily penetrate any object, meaning that infrared rays do not refract when passing through an object.

By taking advantage of this characteristic of infrared rays, only long-wavelength infrared rays are allowed to pass through, while short-wavelength ultraviolet and visible light are filtered out. The colors are red and black. The thickness range is 0.8 to 300mm.

Neutral grey optical glass is used in photographic equipment (such as cameras and video cameras), and it is in large quantities. The key lies in the wavelength. It's just an accessory of an instrument

Blue cobalt glass is a special type of fire-viewing glass, mainly used for observing the flame color reaction of potassium in chemical laboratories. It is also widely used in many industrial Settings (such as cement plants, steel mills, and industrial kilns).

This product is also available in two colors: dark blue and light blue. Generally, dark blue cobalt glass is exclusively used in cement plants, while light blue is mainly used in laboratories to observe the flame color reaction of potassium.

 Characteristics of borosilicate special glass:

a. Low coefficient of thermal expansion

b. High heat resistance: It can withstand high-temperature environments, with a short-term service temperature of up to 500℃ and a softening temperature of approximately 820℃, making it suitable for scenarios with rapid heating and cooling.

c. It has a relatively high hardness, with a flexural strength of approximately 25MPa and is wear-resistant

Ceramic glass, a polycrystalline solid material containing a large number of microcrystals, is formed through controlled crystallization during the heating process of glass. Its microstructure is composed of fine crystals and residual glass phases. Ceramic glass possesses the dual characteristics of both glass and ceramics. Its atomic arrangement is regular, with high brightness and good toughness.

Main applications of ceramic glass:

1. Transparent ceramic  glass is mainly used as the panel for stoves and fireplaces.

2. Black and white ceramic glass is mainly used for the panels of induction cookers and electric ceramic stoves

3. Protective panels for electric heaters, high-performance spotlights and floor lamps.

4. Red and ultraviolet drying equipment.
